Eze

Last night Eze ran around a lot in the middle of the pitch just behind the front line, but never found any space to receive a pass into. Arsenal were so packed in there, I dont recall him getting a meaningful touch.
If Arteta thinks that is the way to use Eze, then he needs to think again. Ebs maybe a magician on the ball but you have to give him the space to create his magic. Last night that was not the case.
Based on how Arsenal set themselves up, it was a very good decision to sub Ebs off. It did little to help their plan and the result could well be the start of Arteta going into panic mode and playing a style that just does not work. Two very valuable points dropped. 😂
City are coming for you Arsenal.....yet again 🤣

Said it before he is a mood player and disappears in games some times. He was tolerated at Palace and was a good servant for the club, but teams like Arsenal pay big money for players and big wages for that they demand 110% for 90 mins in very game. That's just not in Eze's character

He just made the wrong move, abroad and he would get the space, Messi (although i am NOT comparing the two) had the sense to stay out of the Premier league, lengthened his career, Spain, Italy, France or Germany he would have been a success, not in the Premier, has all the skill but not the drive.

Yes and no. Messi can never genuinely stake a claim to being the greatest of all time for the very reason - he’s never done it in the hardest league in the world. So just depends if he’s wants to make life easy or if he’s genuinely ambitious.

That's a bit tough - neither did Pele, Maradona, Cruyff, Zidane or Beckenbauer.
What ambition was he supposed to have when he won the Champions League 4 times with Barcelona?
