I just saw the sky interview between iris Elba and Eze. He said the Arteta called him in while he was on holiday and he knew then he was going.

My question is what the bloody hell was all the spurs s*** about and why did he start the season with us?

The fact is he's a Woolwich Wanderer now and no longer our concern.

My question is what the bloody hell was all the spurs s*** about and why did he start the season with us?

It was well known that he had met with arteta early in the summer but for whatever reason, probably had to raise some finances first, arsenal didn't sign him.

then spurs came in, we finally agreed a deal late in window (hence why he was still playing for us). He was going spurs but really wanted to go arsenal and so rang arteta to tell him what was happening and asked if arsenal wanted to sign him.

the next day arsenal contacted him and i suspect we structured a deal so he could go there.

He may win a prem winner's medal but he's lost his swagger and smile that he played with whilst with us.
