Eze on loan anyone?

We all knew his limitations and brilliance.

The only real difference is at Palace he had no competition, and we'd put up with 80 mins of ineffectiveness, hoping that he might still score the winner.

Arsenals depth in those areas is staggering. Even on the bench last night they had Jesus, Martinelli, Merino, Madueke as well as Eze.

As someone else said, he had to make the move, and we got brilliant money for him. I dont think he'll end up looking back on his time there particularly fondly.
I expect the fact he’s at his boyhood club, may well get a league winners medal, gets to potentially play in the Champions League and has doubled his wages may mean he’s still pretty happy. It’s still early days for him at Arsenal. It might not work out but as they start playing a more congested schedule, get some injuries or simply he beds in with time I think he will get more game time.

It's turned out precisely as I anticipated, that he would spend a lot of time on the subs bench. Arsenal don't really need his services, they have plenty of cover and competition for places. It's possible they only bought him to snub the Spuds. Never mind eh?

I am considering the notion that with Arsenal's squad depth, Eze signed in the knowledge that there would be periods when he would not be given a starting berth.

Joining a new club one a Wolrd Cup year is a very bold move and unfortunately, not a smart one for Ebs. He's found out he doesn't have the luxury of holding down a position in the first team for a whole season, like he did with us.

I really do hope it works out for him. I can't see him coming here on loan anyway, Johnson or Sarr won't be dropped for him
