Exiled Eagles!

I was born and bred in Sdydenham, used to get the 12a to Norwood to watch the mighty Palace.
Now in Castlederg in Ireland /Northern Ireland whichever you like. Mum is from Omagh so travelled over to see relatives etc then the usual, met a nice bit of crumpet who's now Mrs Snot and here we are.

Been in Scotland for 7 years and it's great. People are friendly, beer is cheaper and property is still affordable. The weather could buck it's ideas up a bit but otherwise it's all good.
No Palace fans in the local but there is one each for Villa, West Ham and Burnley.
Hi
Born in Rotherhithe 1946 (lucky escape with a Millwall supporting father/uncles) and moved to Bellingham aged 12. Been in Edinburgh since 1983 (wife's hometown). Met a few Eagles here over the years. Saw loads of Palace tops during and after the FA Cup run up.
I haven't been to SP since moving here. Distance/travel time/finances/tiime off work etc. all combined to completely exile me. Since retiring in 2013 I would have been able to manage a few games but tickets so hard to come by.
I adopted Hibernian (my in-laws team) to address my football withdrawal symptoms and have been a season ticket holder for over 25 years. I upset my posse when they asked who I would support if Palace ever played Hibs (even just for a pre-season friendly) and I told them I and my Palace scarf would be in the away end!
YOU NEVER LOSE IT.
I STILL HAVEN'T RE-JOINED THE REAL WORLD SINCE THE CUP FINAL. WHAT A CUP RUN, WHAT A DAY!!!
