Examples of why the UK and London are beyond repair

to answer the OP, you decide for yourself.

have a look at the top and bottom of Society.

Top = the head of the Church of England, Downing Street, The Cabinet, Mayors of many cities & towns. Top Civil Servants. The BBC.

Bottom = the prison population, the poorest neighbourhoods in the Land, the long-term unemployed and Social Housing, places of high statistics for single parent families, deprivation, drugs, and crime. The homeless.

worrying isn't it ?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Or maybe flip the answer upside down......

Winners......those who reproduce a lot, arrive a lot into the Land, and form only a small part of death statistics, and are broadly increasing their ownership of the private property of the Nation, fastest growing trends like diet, religion, language, etc. Newly numerically dominant in certain industries & professions.

Losers..........those who fail to reproduce, emigrate away, and die a lot, selling-up and owning less Property than previously, dying-out cultural artifacts like diet, religion, and music. Casting less of a shadow in certain industries & professions.

Controlling the drugs trade and other organised crime ? top or bottom ? financially the top but they are the scum of the earth.

Anybody fancy jellied eels, Whelks & a Chas & Dave album ?

bloody worrying , don't you think ?

Now Project your trends forward to, say, the year 2050. Not so much worrying as a fait accompli. And ask yourself, where are the worst places for shoplifting and other petty crime ?

Nothing is beyond saving. Question is all around the political will to do so. Along with why those in charge have allowed it to happen?

None of this has happend by accident.

i remember when
1 you could smoke and drink on Public Transport. And
2. allow your teenage kids to roam the streets with a good probability of a) them getting home alive b) no other nasty drama unfolding.

3. School dinners comprised of animals that had been slaughtered in a humane, painless and ethical manner.
4. You could listen to Speakers at 'Speakers corner' in Hyde Park and hear a diversity of opinions.

5. You travelled on Public Transport and the journey was free of anti-social behaviour, unwanted music, and fights. You could even sometimes get a seat.

The woman recently stabbed in Birmingham has died from her injuries.
Djeison Rafael, a 21-year-old Black British national from Birmingham, will appear in Birmingham Magistrates' Court today.

Don’t know the reason for the accident and sad that one kid lost his life and 2 are badly hurt but Why were boys out on bikes and scooters at midnight.
Do the parents not actually give a s***!

Very sad indeed. I've seen (or barely seen it) it time and again youngsters wearing dark clothes in the dark with no helmets and no visibility lights on scooters and bikes and e bikes. (Obviously this could be a different case)

‘A man and a woman, both in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, driving over the prescribed limit and driving above the specified limit of a controlled drug.’

Did you read the story? Or victim blaming quickly again?

If you actually bothered to read the story you’d know why.
Did you read what I wrote. I haven’t blamed the kids I pointed the finger at their parents. Will yours be out on bikes at midnight ?
If the arrested were to blame then they get what they deserve. No one is victim blaming but just giving factual info. Also the poster is correct if they had no lights or high visibility this can and does happen. Will you be back with the apology if it is proven that no blame is attached to the car driver.

Still haven’t read it have you?

You’re blaming kids on scooters after dark over people drug driving here.

For those at back who can't read. 🙄

Typical Dan.

The point was made about kids on scooters in black at night with no road sense. I've had close calls, I'm aware of what a danger to themselves they are, but Dan always has another focus.

I usually blast them with the horn anyway.
