Christ, what a talent Mullins was as a young player. Chelsea would have offered us £100m for him by halftime in his first game if he had come through nowadays.

His first signing at Newport Co is left-back Alfie Merritt on loan from Bournemouth.
In his first game in charge, Newport Co exited the Carabao Cup on penalties after drawing 1-1 at AFC Wimbledon. Merritt came off the subs bench late in the game replacing Tom Davies.
