Getting off the train at Victoria on the morning of the final I overheard a dad telling his mate that his this was only his boys second live game supporting Palace (the boy must have been about 10 I guess) apparently his only previous live game was the semi final, I remember thinking, wow if we win today how on earth is he ever going to top that.

But can his boy do it on a cold Tuesday night in Stoke? 🤣

a mid-week cup game against lower league opposition, in the pouring rain and cold, in the arfur Waite stand. with a halftime trip to the toilets. That'll be some reality. 😀
Although, since Saturday, my vision is slightly rosey-tinted.
Walking through stinking piss in the arfur toilets isn't really that bad 🙂 After a while , it's even quite pleasant.
