Two things -

We have a terrible record against Everton, even when they were awful.

I think the players are believing in themselves. That's dangerous, as I think we'll be more open than them.

I predict a 2-0 loss.

I'm also changing my name to Grumpywillomort 😉

They and Brentford did the double over us last year which surely will be rectified. West Ham were, surprisingly, the better team against them on Monday with Diouf and Summerville giving them lots of grief down that side. Hopefully, Mitchell and Pino can match them

I did some checking and in the last 10 years we have a 2-10-11 record against them (1-1-1 in the fa cup) last win against them in the prem was 12/12/2021..before that..21/09/2014. Based off these stats alone (which is always just for fun) we have a 50/50 chance of remaining unbeaten.

An Away game 3 days after an Away game in Europe.
I do not envisage us attaining all the points at the 'Hill Dickenson', my hunch is a draw at best but would not be surprised if we are defeated.

I thought the same with the villa away game after the away game in Norway and especially with all the transfer speculation and then we went and won 3-0.

Glasner has thrown the typical palace rule book out the window!

Despite them being a bogey team for us I feel its often linked to the manager. Dyche has always set up his teams in such a way that Palace find him hard to beat. It was the same when he was at Burnley.
Lets face it Lampard wasn't hard to work out. I know they beat us last game of the season a couple of years back with him in charge but we were on the beach and they needed to points to confirm safety.
Against Moyes teams be dont have too bad a record. They wont park the bus like they did under Dyche. If chances present themselves we'll create them.
For me it comes down to how well our finishing is on the day. If we are converting 1 in 3 we'll win the game. If its like the Liverpool game and its 1 in 6 we'll lose.
I was fortunate to call it right with the score last week. I'm hoping I'm on a roll and I'm going to predict 0-2 with the second goal coming late on when Everton are over committing in search of an equaliser.
