We were never going to be in pot 1. It means we have to play one team from every pot so not difficult to work out who we might get bur only 1 of Juve, Milan, etc.

We can't be drawn against another Englush club

The draw isn't till the end of August because there are several preliminary rounds to be played first before all the teams will be known

Some of those in the preliminary rounds such as Benfica have a higher European coefficient than us and will be in a higher pot than us if they get through. If enough of them don't then we might creep into pot 2

Given that those 'rankings' posted on X have nine teams in each pot, it's probably better not to take them too seriously. If there are four pots of eight like last year, we will probably end up in pot two (although it will make little difference in reality).

I don't think they need to, it's just for seeding the league stage. Teams from the same country can't meet either so it's more about the algorithm than anything else.
