Hi all. Fiorentina fan here in peace!

I've just registered in the (hopeful) chance we may meet in the QF as I'm a Glasgow based fan of La Viola for 35 years and am in a position to answer any questions you might have on the team, travelling/visiting Florence etc. A bit like a club ambassador!

Obviously don't want to assume we'll both get through but feel it's likely and if I come down I may need some advice too!

Is it hard to get tickets in the home end at Fiorentina? As I'm hearing that due to stadium renovations it would be a very small away ticket allocation

Yes, ordinarily getting a home ticket (as a tourist) is not an issue and we haven't often sold out our reduced capacity this season. However, for big games and IF we both make the quarters as expected, it will be.

Currently our stadium renovation has halved capacity to approx. 22,000 and I think UEFA allocation would mean 1-2k for Palace fans? We have a "cheese" segregated section in the corner next to our ultras (as they were relicated to the opposite curve - meaning there's no possible expansion for away fans. Security would be tight and normally you need passport on you plus have an 'InViola' (fan registration) card to buy tickets.

With Iran firing missiles at Cyprus along with everyone else in range the commercial airport will likely be closed
Not jumping the gun but booking the away leg might be a waste of time
