Epstein

They said there was a high level conspiracy trafficking and abusing children.
Are you still saying they were wrong?

Look at who you are (still) covering for.
Your pride and ego is more important than the blood of children. 😢

Oh grow up - in what world am I covering for anyone and how am I doing so?

Seems a bit aggressive, but sure.

That there is some overlap with the truth in all of the bollocks that those groups punted is not surprising - to suggest that now makes them correct or credible is just guff. They've been hilariously wrong on far, far more than they've been slightly right on.
That's funny coming from you.

oh well. I guess Prince Andrew was just a once off ? A blip ?

He was the scapegoat.

Remember this video?

Mountbatten has been known about for a long time.

oh well. Lets forget about royalty for a while. Politicians. I guess Peter Mandleson was just a blip too ? a once off ?

Have you actually read the articles you shared? What do you think they are proving exactly?

Weak. Do you actually read anyone else's posts? Do you even read your own posts?

I'll quote Stirling from earlier as a reminder, as it still hasn't sunk in for you
"It was the US and mostly British right base who never let this go.......You guys bent over and took it from your leaders that this was a right wing conspiracy theory and did and said nothing.
Zero principles just tribalism."

My posts above further confirm this truth. CNN and Politico are both woke Left media outlets.

Not sure there is any point continuing this dialogue with you if you can't see or digest what's in front of your face.

It would certainly help if you actually made a point and didn't rely on *coughs* like some sort of moody teenage girl.

The reason I asked if you actually read the articles is that they don't remotely 'prove' what you're suggesting they do - you're again conflating wider conspiracies around pizzagate and Qanon with the very real happenings on Epstein's island.

The 'Maga media's Esptein conspiracy' being described in the headline is not simply the existence of the island or the existence of a paedophile ring, which has obviously been proved true.

Part of me suspects you already know this, hence why you shared cropped screenshots rather than links to articles, but happy to give you the benefit of the doubt that it was ignorance rather than a deliberate attempt to misrepresent.

Wrong again.
At this point I am not sure whether you are dishonest or stupid.

The clue was in the CNN headline implying Epstein was a conspiracy theory. But the small print in the article are even worse. Try the first two paragraphs
"Myriad right-wing media figures have, for years, suggested that the government is hiding secrets relating to Jeffrey Epstein, the convicted pedophile who died by suicide in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges.
Many versions of the conspiracy theory have asserted that the government is covering up a list of powerful men who also committed heinous crimes."

https://edition.cnn.com/2025/02/28/media/epstein-files-conspiracy-bondi

There is also some stuff about the right arguing about Trump's botched release, the key point that elements of the right argued with each other that the first release didn't go far enough.

But none of that obfuscation excuses that CNN (and other left media outlets) labelled the Epstein list a right-wing conspiracy, which you denied.

Where did I deny that?

Specifically the 'Epstein list', because you're right, that is what those articles labelled a conspiracy - not the abuse ring itself, but the existence of a list.

Obviously you'll know the 'Epstein list' wasn't and hasn't been the topic of any of my posts today - you'd have to be dishonest or stupid to make such a claim, but you can let us know which.

Just a completely made-up reality.

I've literally never heard Epstein and his island described as a 'right wing conspiracy'.

Ok, you asked for it.

The fact that you have had your head in the sand over this isn't really a fault of mine.

But I haven't had my head in the sand and I have the receipts.

Here are ten prominent examples of left-leaning figures, Democrats, or media outlets dismissing the right-wing emphasis on releasing the Epstein files (often framed around a supposed "client list") as a conspiracy theory or baseless speculation. These are drawn from major sources and ranked roughly by prominence and influence, focusing on high-profile statements or articles that explicitly tie the push to right-wing or QAnon-driven narratives. I've prioritized factual reporting without partisan spin.
  1. MSNBC Opinion Piece (January 2024): In an op-ed, writer Hayes Brown described the anticipation around the Epstein documents as fueling "conspiracy theories" promoted by right-wing figures, noting that the "client list" narrative is a letdown and won't unravel any elite network, as it's tied to apolitical but often far-right speculation.

  2. CNN Analysis (February 2025): CNN's media reporter highlighted how right-wing personalities hyped the "Epstein client list" as a major conspiracy theory for years, only for it to unravel, citing experts who confirmed no such list exists despite MAGA claims.

  3. MSNBC Opinion (August 2025): An MSNBC column called rumors about the Epstein files "preposterous" and aligned with QAnon conspiracy theories, arguing that the right's obsession (including Trump's promises) was overblown and that no smoking-gun client list would emerge.

  4. The New York Times Podcast Transcript (July 2025): In a discussion, the NYT referred to the "mythical client list" as the focal point of a dominant conspiracy theory within MAGA circles, emphasizing how it enmeshes Trump administration figures in unfounded Epstein speculation.

  5. The New York Times Article (July 2025): The NYT described the Epstein client list as a "mythical" element of right-wing conspiracy theories, noting that Trump's aides spread it before trying to downplay it as baseless.

  6. MSNBC Opinion (July 2025): Hayes Brown on MSNBC labeled the Epstein files push one of the "most lurid conspiracies" stoked by Trump, calling the purported client list something that "almost certainly doesn’t exist" and criticizing MAGA for building expectations on falsehoods.

  7. CNN Media Report (July 2025): CNN reported on how MAGA media's promotion of Epstein conspiracy theories, including the "supposed Epstein client list," backfired on Trump, framing it as unfounded conjecture rooted in right-wing narratives.

  8. Beto O'Rourke Statement (August 2019): Then-Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke criticized Trump for "using this position of public trust to attack his political enemies with unfounded conspiracy theories" related to Epstein's death and files, tying it to right-wing attacks on Democrats.

  9. Cory Booker Statement (August 2019): Democratic Sen. Cory Booker called Trump's promotion of Epstein theories "dangerous," accusing him of "giving life to not just conspiracy theories but really whipping people up into anger," in reference to right-wing claims about a cover-up involving Democrats.

  10. Politico Magazine Interview (January 2024): Conspiracy theory expert Mike Rothschild, in a Politico piece, described the right's obsession with the "Epstein list" as part of a "toxic stew" of QAnon, antisemitism, and Clinton-focused conspiracies, noting it's not a real client list but a document dump with no smoking gun.
The only people I ever saw or heard defend Andrew were right-wing monarchists - does that mean I can claim all of 'you guys' support nonces?

That makes no sense.

You seem to be confused with the idea that I'm saying everyone on the left.....when that's not what I said, I'm saying the mainstream left's position certainly, as I've proved above and the left's activists who showed no interest in this until Trump came to power (because they listen to their mainstream's narrative).....However, I can think of respectable individuals on the left who have been against the mainstream left's position on Epstein since before it became fashionable. Ana Kasparian for example.

Someone can be a monarchist, insomuch as think the idea works better than the alternative.....but not like the current monarchy....which is woke as feck.

This stuff is so so weak.

The guy who came on here claiming that Kirk's assassin was far right because of a photo he had taken of a meme, wants to talk about 'weak'.

Blimey.

Regardless, I think I've proven your central contention as misinformed.

I think I've proven your central contention as misinformed.

It's a nice AI list of 'receipts' 🤢

Much like the other poster, your now introducing the concept of a client list and suggesting this was the claim all along, when it clearly wasn't.

My central point, that you said was a 'made up reality' is provably true.

My criticism of most of the left in coming to this situation late is also true (excepting individuals I'm willing to praise). It's not our fault that most of the left are slavish to their media.....whereas the right on the other hand never let the Epstein files go regardless of media or what Trump said to them....or the damage it could do to ourselves.

Some on the left could do with learning that some principles are more important than political tribalism. This was our redline.

Was it wrong to use AI to find examples, which I knew were out there? Are you suggesting I spend god knows how long finding them individually?

You're the one who walked into that.....I knew what I was talking about.

Much like the other poster, your now introducing the concept of a client list and suggesting this was the claim all along, when it clearly wasn't.

Where have I limited myself to that?

It's not about 'client lists', it's about child abuse/sex trafficking/intel agency involvement and everything else around that. Who knew and took part.

Both Republicans and Democrat mainstreams tried to suppress everything around Epstein.

Only the noise made on the right wouldn't let the issue die....because most of the left went along with it. But the largest US and UK right wing influencers never let this go.......It made Trump agree to a release pre election....which we then saw him walk back post election.

The fact that you were ignorant of all this pressure from the right on Epstein and the lack of it on the left illustrates the criticism I'm making.....it's indicative of the fact that you weren't taking notice.

Ok, that was part of my criticism......However, for you to then walk into denying all this without actually knowing what you're talking about just makes you look........Well, like you belong back on the bbs with the rest of those plonkers who think Trump getting shot was staged and that Kirk was shot by a Fuentes fanboy.

Is that 5th or 6th go of bringing that up? I'd be embarrassed to have to keep shifting back to previous arguments to try and score points, as you seem to make a habit of doing - genuinely pathetic behaviour.

Obviously you've never got anything wrong in your 50,000 contributions.

It's a nice AI list of 'receipts' 🤢

Much like the other poster, your now introducing the concept of a client list and suggesting this was the claim all along, when it clearly wasn't.

More smoke and mirrors obfuscation to avoid the actual point.

The point, for years, has been that the hidden/withheld Epstein files contain names of the guilty.
Whether those names are buried in the files or held in a literal list is irrelevant. Since, either way, going through the files would produce a 'list' of names. It's just wordplay. Frankly, it's an embarrassing defence to offer.

I'll say it again - this sort of obfuscation makes you complicit.
Previously you could hide in a mainstream safe-space reassured that millions of others, including the mainstream media and politicians, played the same weasly game. But no more. Now the world sees what people like you have been part of. A very small part individually, but nonetheless a significant collective part of what enabled this to be covered up for so long.
You too have blood on your hands - I don't believe it's any way melodramatic or unfair to say that.

Was it wrong to use AI to find examples, which I knew were out there? Are you suggesting I spend god knows how long finding them individually?

No I was just mocking your use of 'I've got the receipts' which is something you might expect a university student to say.

You move the goalposts so much it's v difficult for a conversation to actually go anywhere - you've successfully obfuscated the initial point sufficiently as to not feel like you were wrong, which seems to be an MO.

And then back to just random generalisations about the leftist boogeyman in your head.

Pointless.
