When I look at the current line ups for the top teams in the Premiership it's like a game of 'spot the English player'.
You know, I really question the sense of this.....Not only does this go against having an 'English' league and 'English football' but it directly damages the national team.....and that was a foundational lie that the Premiership was started on....that it would help the national side. Our best years as a national side were back when we had hardly any foreign players and our best sides were in 66 and 70.
My opinion is that each starting line up must contain three 'England qualified' starting players.
Because what I'm seeing has very little to do with England at all.
