Ebs is a keen chess player (he had a few games posted up on the cpfc website last year with Olise).

Well, this very evening, is the conclusion of Pogchamps6 a chess.com live stream chess tournament and Ebs is in Semi-Final no. 2 of the main tournament!

So the 1st semi-final went to a tie-break... and Ebs's first game is only just starting now.

There could be quite a lot of chess to play between now and the end of the tournament tonight.

I hope he doesn't miss his bedtime!

As a casual chess player with a similar rapid rating around 1200 I love Ebs aggressive style

I live ebs but to be a fantastic footballer and a decent chess player is just annoying. Some people are so greedy. Probably packing a decent schlong as well 😀

No chess is not cool.

But it's not everyday you can spend the evening in the company of a first team player and follow along with the games.

Totally understand that this won't mean much to those who don't play the game, but the opening match was like watching a first round boxing knockout such was the clinical ferocity of Ebs' play. The lad knows what he's doing.
