It’s somewhat concerning now that both Pino and Riad are injured. Pino was reported as a possible dislocated shoulder, which if it was confirmed could be ca 8 weeks and any sentence including the words „Riad & „knee“ instantly makes me nervous

Pino already has done a week ,
Riad yes but the pitchs have been drying out so maybe just feeling it a little more ,

I read that Pino has a shoulder sprain which puts him out of the World Cup, but is not as bad as a collarbone break.
If I was Riad I might be tempted not to come back too quickly, if only to avoid the French forward line.

Wow, they are quite the specimens. I never heard of the Colombian Eagle or "Harpy Eagle" before.

Perhaps "Phoenix the Eagle" could get a Harpy Eagle buddy, in honour of Muñoz and Lerma 🙂
Give him enough of Colombia's best known product and he'll get on with anybody. For a while anyway.

Where are the great World Cup teams of yesterday that properly took the world by storm?
Brazil, West Gernany, Italy, Argentina, Netherlands.dating back from 1970 onwards.

I'm watching Spain v Portugal and it's a really poor game.
The German and Brazil teams are amongst the worst I've seen from those countries.

Messi still looks one of the best players at the tournament and he's approaching 40.
Where are the next superstars?

France are the only team in this World Cup who to my mind approach world class status.
