We have a decent sized debt I believe. All the premier league clubs have the same financial year end which is 30th June so the end March is the deadline to submit for all clubs. We can't pull that year end date change trick anymore.
Always interesting what they show even though it's a snapshot from 9 months ago.

I hope not, the way we’ve performed in the conference we would’ve been dumped out of the Europa at the group stage🤣Does this mean we can go back into the Europa league?

cant see the issue , DUCKIt's all kicking off. Translation:
Botafogo takes Olympique Lyonnais to court and seeks to recover a debt exceeding R$745 million.
Last Friday (3), Botafogo filed legal actions against Olympique Lyonnais due to debts totaling more than R$745 million. The objective is to secure the return of the amounts owed, which are essential for strengthening the club’s sporting project, and to protect the club’s assets.
As has been public knowledge since the incorporation of the SAF in 2022, Botafogo became part of the Eagle Group, a multi-club network led by John Textor. As a competitive strategy, all clubs in the group adopted a collaborative model for financial and player management. This model contributed to historic achievements for Botafogo, such as the CONMEBOL Libertadores and the 2024 Brazilian Championship. For Olympique Lyonnais, this collaboration also had a significant impact in its first year under John Textor’s leadership, lifting the club out of the relegation zone and imminent drop, and qualifying it for the Europa League within just one transfer window.
Eagle Football acquired Olympique Lyonnais at the end of 2022 while the club was insolvent, with all banks demanding repayment of debts and under the threat of heavy sanctions from the DNCG on the first day of Eagle’s control.
In this context, Botafogo made successive financial contributions totaling more than R$745 million in the form of loans, with the clear expectation of repayment under previously agreed terms.
Subsequently, amid internal conflicts among Eagle Group partners, the new president of Olympique Lyonnais unilaterally terminated the collaboration agreement. Despite having benefited from the funds received, the French club failed to meet its obligations, refusing to repay the debt owed to Eagle Group clubs—R$745 million to Botafogo and an additional €12 million to RWDM Brussels. This default directly impacted Botafogo’s operations, compromising financial planning and affecting its ability to renew contracts and sign players. As a consequence, the club was even subjected to a FIFA transfer ban at the end of 2025.
From this point on, Botafogo is taking an irreversible step: the SAF will pursue all appropriate legal measures to fully recover the amounts owed by Olympique Lyonnais and ensure the continuity and strength of its sporting project.

I doubt SP will bother. Not criticising him, just saying he probably won’t do it.Unfortunately the clock cannot be turned back but it may well help us appear as victims if Parish sends a letter of concern to the French FA. It cleared OL finances which ultimately led to Palace’s demotion. UEFA doesn’t come out of it at all well as they interviewed Textor and believed his bull***t about controlling Palace. Maybe we will get some competent referees for the remaining matches.

Dunno if we would have. The games / opposition would have suited us better, and none of them are opposition where we wouldn’t be in chance of a result.More of a ring piece.
After the dramas of our European venture it now looks like a bargain price to get rid of him. Ignoring the fact that we'd have almost certainly got gubbed out of the "higher" competition.
Win/Win?
Scotland
My confidence was a lot higher before we'd played any games, at least higher than generally when Palace are involved.Dunno if we would have. The games / opposition would have suited us better, and none of them are opposition where we wouldn’t be in chance of a result.
Forest have managed to get this far, we would have got at least this far too. I fancied us to win the proper tournament before we got booted down to this one.

Obviously we’ve had some interesting problems in spells of the season, but the dodgier performances/results in Europe have by and large been down to style of play.My confidence was a lot higher before we'd played any games, at least higher than generally when Palace are involved.
Still, we're still involved so onwards and upwards.

That's fair enough but I suspect our lamentable finishing would have been punished more by better teams.Obviously we’ve had some interesting problems in spells of the season, but the dodgier performances/results in Europe have by and large been down to style of play.
These teams are comfortable to leave us in possession. We’re not comfortable to have so much of it.
That would’ve been different in Europa, as we’d’ve been the team playing on the counter. How we are comfortable playing, and how we got here playing in the first place.
England
Him or Huuuuugggghhheeesss 😂That's fair enough but I suspect our lamentable finishing would have been punished more by better teams.
But we should be a lot more comfortable over the league now and can concentrate on winning the thing.
Who knows? Maybe JPM will go on a spree and have the corner flags flying in all directions.
Actually how about Kamada scoring tonight? Could win a fortune on that one.
