Dynamo Kyiv away

Not getting political or anything that's for the other threads but I would be interested to see if it's only women and children who would be there that may have moved to Poland or if any men were allowed to travel.
Men could be on leave, for example. Or have protected jobs. I'm not comfortable with thinking everyone not really wanting to get killed should be forced to. Most people have an inner urge to survive at all costs.

I probably would have put on a dress, changed my pro-nouns and legged it across the border at the first sign of trouble 🤭

Thousands of Ukrainians headed to Poland after some legal changes made it easier to migrate for work.

A bunch of those already in Poland had escaped to the West when the conflict with Russia kicked off in Donbas back in 2014.

There are tons of young guys in Poland, and it makes total sense why they’d be hesitant to go back home and risk their lives for their government.

They probably won’t be making the trip to the match from Kyiv since crossing the border is still tough. It's more like if someone does manage to leave they likely wouldn’t want to come back.

Plus don’t expect a huge turnout in the home stands; not every Ukrainian is a Dynamo fan.

The bookies have Dynamo Kiev at 4/1 to win and Palace are 4/7. Hopefully this will be the walk in the park they are expecting.
Kyiv haven't lost for 39 games.

A draw would be a good result.

How nice is it to see 'Dynamo Kyiv away' as a topic on Palace Talk.

Look how far we've come.
Unfortunately Kiev are 'away' too.

a dalliance with the First Division (now Premier League), and a cup run was on a wish list of yesteryear. Indeed, I still feel I'm dreaming 🙂

Talking of not getting political..... very dissapointing to hear one side of the pub in Lublin singing "Stop the boats ... Crystal Palace chants" this evening.
Those twats can do one as far as I'm concerned
The other side of the bar were brilliant
Come on you Eagles tomorrow!!!!

Never been prouder to be a palace fan! 😃

Waking up in a hotel room in Warsaw after a horribly delayed Wizz Air flight from Luton but.....

Eeeeeeaaaagllllessss!!!

Pinching ourselves that we're shortly heading off to Lublin to look around, grab lunch and find a pint or two with other Palace fans before the game. I've dreamed of seeing our club play in Europe for over 50 years and now I am doing it. Feeling very proud to be Palace.

In the press conference Glasner said that Nketiah’s minutes have to be managed as he has missed so much training so I don’t see him starting.
One interesting side note from the conference was on set pieces when he was asked about the team’s strengths on these.
He stressed their importance and also said that one out of every three goals is scored from a set piece.
This makes it even more baffling that Hodgson didn’t take them more seriously and we rarely threatened let alone scored from them.
