Football matches were played at 3.00pm on a Saturday afternoon?
A quick tally of Palace home Prem.League matches up till the end of the year shows that Palace will play 1 Wednesday match,1 Friday match,1 Saturday match and 6 Sunday matches.
Away league matches show 1 Wednesday match,5 Saturday matches and 2 Sunday matches.
It would be bad enough playing on a Sunday afternoon, but 7.00pm on a Sunday evening is taking things a bit far. Sunday is usually a difficult time to travel, with most BR trackwork being carried out on a Sunday;bus timetables are "slimmer" on Sundays.
Rant over.
