Desperate times....choose One good thing, the Prem or European Cup now & Europa Qualification in 27?

my personal feeling today is that we could easily get neither. West Ham are resurgent and the Europa Conference is a long haul against the low block.

So anyway, the genie came out of the Lamp and offered you Prem Survival OR the Europa Conference. Go back to the Championship with a new trophy in our cabinet, or survive in anonymity. Choose one.

Ipswich Town once won the Europa League. A once in a lifetime achievement. 1981, remembered forever. Or Prem survival : which is effectively the equivalent of winning the richest match in the World, the Wembley Playoff final.

I want us to be a solid mid table, gritty club... we don't break the bank, we unearth gems, we get lucky once in a blue moon...

Winning the FA cup was amazing and we should have followed that up with building a more solid prem squad to match our points record... Europe is only a bonus

Trophy for me. Surviving in the league just to underwhelm again next season doesn't excite me. I know for financial reasons my comment is incorrect but I don't care. The honours list for a club lists the things they won, it doesn't mention 17th in the Prem.

The Premier League is vital for our future, the Europa Conference is not, although it would get us Europa League qualification.

Relegation doesn’t bother me, been there done that, it would even freshen it up again, the premier league has all gone a bit stale, same old thing every year, we’re never going to push on and better ourselves, last year was as good as it’s going to get.
But also, I don’t yearn to win the conference, I’ve seen us play a few games in Europe at selhurst, with one more gaurenteed to come, so I’m happy.

So basically I’m happy to see how it all pans out, whatever will be will be, but if I did have to choose, let’s have another trophy before the rot sets in, which it’s probably going to do anyway because we’ve had our moment in time

Agreed. Can’t see us surviving at this time with Glasner at the helm. Even if he goes now, it’s a big turnaround required to get the points required in my opinion. Winning Conference Cup will mean nothing to me as it will be talked about by media as Palace also went down that season - stay up and try to rebuild for next season. We need to stay in the premier and not be below the likes of Brighton, Millwall and Charlton :-(
