Dario Osorio

It's time to start Dario Osorio on the right if the front three. Rather like Olise, he likes to cut in on to his left and has scored great goals in the top corner. He is a talent, but when he has played, he has played too deep.
100% agree, he shows energy, work rate and talent. Way better than our striker-trio of Nkethia, GuessWho and JSL...

Given we loaned the guy with an option (obligation) to buy we might as well see what we have. He had a decent cameo against Newcastle but struggled to impact the game against Fulham and looked quite lightweight. We know Sage didn’t rate him to start with but I don’t think we’ve seen enough to form any sort of judgement good or bad

I thought that about Olise when we first signed him 🤣
And I always remember when I first see Ian Wright, a skinny little black fella mooching out on to the pitch, I thought he looks a puff of wind and far too lightweight 🤣

He looks very talented and capable of long shots. It would be great to see Pino, Osorio and Mateta on Thursday night. There is the makings of a big player there

As others said he is working hard. I get the slow introduction like with Olise but if we leave it too long we could have another Esse drop in confidence

He looks exciting but I can understand why Sage has been hesitant to start him given how the season is going - he's raw and lightweight, and as is often the case with talented attacking players, he looks miles off it out of possession at the moment. It's difficult to 'risk' players like that when form is so bad.

Osario definitely has something though - talented dribbler with a hell of a left foot.

I concur with these sentiments.
I believe we have an option to purchase him for £24 Mill and I suspect he will have to be a regular, making a significant contribution for us to complete the deal.

I thought it was an obligation to buy, but I could be wrong.

Either way, £24m is not a lot in today's market - he's already shown enough talent for me to be comfortable with the signing. I think he's a really exciting prospect.

I think we need one of our so called forward 3 in midfield alongside Wharton and Kamada. McNeil fits that better in my opinion?

Yeah I think McNeil being a bit more physically imposing and stronger out of possession is why he's trusted atm - he's spent most of his career under Dyche and Moyes so he should be reliable at keeping in shape/tracking runners etc.

From what I understand is that it is an obligation to buy no matter how many appearances. It's a simple loan to buy deal.
