Wasn't there a requirement to have owned a gold membership before a certain date?

I think that is also why the queue is so long, those people are now trying to see if they can still make it, when they can't buy tickets at all

Still 26000 in front of me. I would of thought lots of people would be buying for several tickets so I can’t understand this number, unless there are many more thousands gold members

It's going way more slowly this time for some reason too. I was on at 10.30 in the semi after having 24k ahead of me. This suggests there are more eligible people on this time? Currently states 11.07 with 13.7k ahead of me now.

Just got mine. Was 7800th in the queue this time vs 84000th for the semi (that semi final queue sped up a lot towards the end). Plenty of availability left as I checked out.

After the Semi I'm certain that the queue position is random. I joined today at 09:20 and entered at 29,000 my dad joined at 09:58 and was 3,000 in the queue...

Each device used will be a login on the site. So someone running 3 devices will have logged in 3 times. So it's almost certainly the number of devices used that's created the explosion in login numbers.
