Palace: Henderson (GK), Lacroix, Guéhi, Lerma, Clyne, Hughes, Wharton, Mitchell, Devenny, Pino, Mateta.

Subs: Benítez (GK), Canvot, Sosa, Benamar, Rodney, Drakes-Thomas, Esse, Nketiah, Uche.

Tottenham: Vicario, Danso, Richarlison, Gray, Bergvall, Kudus, Pedro Porro, Spence, Bentancur, van de Ven (c), Kolo Muani.

Subs: Kinsky, Dragusin, Takai, Davies, Palhinha, Johnson, Odobert, Tel, Scarlett.

I have a theory, a passing thought, that Uche never starts because the club doesn't want to meet the terms of his loan, and he's just here to fill in the gap in the meantime. Kind of explains why OG picks Mateta (injured allegedly) over Uche but perhaps doesn't explain why Mateta always starts ahead of £25m star buy Eddie Nketiah. I wonder what he makes of it, and is our forward line so truly woeful?

Interesting bench

It's difficult to see where our goals will come from. Mateta getting the nod over Uche again, even though he's supposedly injured 🤔

Would people please stop spreading that same misinformation every week OG has even said he is not injured.

In the last press conference he stated the medical team said he is fine to play otherwise he would not play him.

He took a knock when on international duty that is all and had some swelling which has gone.

Anyone with the remotest understanding of the game understands why this happens

I've just seen Mateta in a wheelchair.

Looking forward to this one but time our midfield and attack stepped up with finishing as all our goals lately seem to be coming from defenders and wingbacks.

If not in first half then time for a few new boys and fringe guys get decent minutes
