I agree, it was a great day and it softened the blow of the year before. It was great for all those who couldn’t get tickets for fa cup final because of our pathetic ticket allocation

and it was fitting that our great team actually won a trophy and we had the pleasure to see them do so at wembley.
Coming third was a brilliant achievment but for them to actually win a trophy was the cherry on the top and 35,000 of us had a great day out seeing this superb team winning a one off match at wembley.

Perhaps surprisingly it felt a bit of a shock to hear it. It was just at the moment when we were absolutely sure we going to reach the final, Shakhtar for all their efforts had submitted to defeat and we were looking comfortable. And it's right that for all the unpleasantness of January that Glasner is celebrated for his past successes and the success we all hope for at the end of May.
Forgiveness doesn't come naturally when it comes to football and supporting your club but I guess it's a mature thing to recognise upsetting comments were made but the club has got through that moment and pulled itself together to achieve something really incredible.
Glasner said this week he has definitely made mistakes this year and learned from them and so for his sake and the supporters of his future clubs I hope he has. And on the same note it was good to see Mateta was back to his slightly unhinged effervescent personality after the game loving life and being at Palace.
The noise at Selhurst was truly tremendous and the 'we love you' at the final whistle was the loudest I've heard.
You have it right. A great sense of unity at the club and we are all together again and in great shape for one final push for more final glory. We are on our way!

Watching Kamada last night I thought, ‘we’ll miss him when he is gone’ ! Appears lazy (when compared to say Wharton) but adds a certain culture to our midfield.

Quite a few of the attacking players (defence was shaky) but as always I get totally focussed on the Palace players and don't often pick up on the opposition individuals especially if I don't know who they are from the outset.
Hopefully the scouts were taking more careful note as Shakhtar's business plan does depend on moving on players to the top leagues for big fees while they are separated from their home city.
I expect they will all have been impressed by the support they saw at Selhurst last night so wouldn't take much convincing to come here if there is competition for their signatures.

If we win the cup and make the Europa League it would be a huge bonus for us to have him as part of the big squad we will need - and no doubt he'd pick up a huge bonus too!
Pleased to see Daichi getting recognition for an excellent performance alongside Wharton. Mitchell was also immense I thought.
As a variation on the old theme, many years ago I attended a performance of "I'm sorry, I haven't a clue" at the Fairfield Hall. During his introduction Jack Dee mentioned that Croydon had its own football team (cheers from the audience) but went on to say that thieves had recently broken into the club's trophy room (boo). When staff arrived the following morning they found that all the carpets had gone. (Well it was funny when he said it.)

Although Daichi had a fine game overall, his laziness was directly responsible for the goal we conceded. If you watch the replay, you'll see he made no effort WHATSOEVER to find and mark the wide-open player who scored. Inexcusable for a professional, and a £100 per week one at that.
