It's basically the same attack that scored 4 against poznan and same defence that kept clean sheet against a rampant leeds.

Best eleven he could have picked I think. It does highlight how poor our defensive options are though. The fact we spent a combined £40m on two right wingers who can’t even get in the squad but failed to get in a proven centre back shows our transfer window was a bit of a mess.

Both probably arrived back only a couple of days ago. Sage likely had time to work with Guessard over the break (I don't recall if he played internationals).

I think it is pretty clear by now that Sage doesn’t rate Osorio. He hasn’t featured since he signed and can’t even get on the bench. To be fair he is one of at least 6 players who play as a right sided attacker so it was always going to be difficult for him. Such strange transfer business to sign so many players for that position
