Mateta looks knackered.. I dont know if its just me but I've found he's been getting jostled off the ball quite easily the last few games which is unusual.

Still find it surprising we didn't get another striker in during the window.

I read a stat somewhere that he has played an average of 89 minutes per game so far this season, compared to just over 70 last season and even lower the year before.

If he is burning out already then the omens are not great if we want to compete in four competitions.

Hopefully Nketiah, Uche and if he can sort his game out Esse can share the load as the season progresses.

Don't think he's been treated fairly tbh. Kamada was given 10 months to get up to speed, Esse seems to be expected to do everything right in whatever brief spell he's given. He obviously wasn't having a great game but I can't see how he's going to develop if he's constantly hooked at the first opportunity.

I love Ollie but don't agree with how he's dealt with Esse.

The kid just is not strong enough yet, he was caught out a lot tonight when on the ball and his defence needs a lot of work.

Fitness and gym time needed. Talent is there, but millwall bullied him.

I'd say you are both correct.

Not his best game tonight. And he had a very slow start after joining.

But look at his work in the back end of last season (not least the cup semi final and final): for me he was outstanding.

I can’t think of one positive contribution Kamada has made to this match - not one! Misplaced passes, inept tackling and slovenly positioning. I, like a few others on this site, cannot fathom why Glasner appears to have so much faith in him.

Strangely Esse would probably have a better game in the PL than in a Cup game v a more 'industrial' championship side .
His trouble is he wont be getting the chance until he can do it in these games . He needs putting out on loan in January .

Pino has been just as bad imo and Kamada also pretty woeful. So many misplaced passes. I've no problem with giving Pino minutes to adapt but feel Esse needs to be given the same opportunity to improve.
