I read a stat somewhere that he has played an average of 89 minutes per game so far this season, compared to just over 70 last season and even lower the year before.Mateta looks knackered.. I dont know if its just me but I've found he's been getting jostled off the ball quite easily the last few games which is unusual.
Still find it surprising we didn't get another striker in during the window.
Don't think he's been treated fairly tbh. Kamada was given 10 months to get up to speed, Esse seems to be expected to do everything right in whatever brief spell he's given. He obviously wasn't having a great game but I can't see how he's going to develop if he's constantly hooked at the first opportunity.
I love Ollie but don't agree with how he's dealt with Esse.
You can't have everythingKamada works hard, is very mobile and seems to have a good touch.
I've not idea why his passing is so inexplicably terrible.
I'd say you are both correct. What? That interception he made came from him giving the ball away in the first place ffs
I can’t think of one positive contribution Kamada has made to this match - not one! Misplaced passes, inept tackling and slovenly positioning. I, like a few others on this site, cannot fathom why Glasner appears to have so much faith in him.You think Kamada is clueless, you need to give your head a wobble.
Strangely Esse would probably have a better game in the PL than in a Cup game v a more 'industrial' championship side .The kid just is not strong enough yet, he was caught out a lot tonight when on the ball and his defence needs a lot of work.
Fitness and gym time needed. Talent is there, but millwall bullied him.
re your Kamada point, he also took time to get up to speed, but he obviously has. Such a good central midfielder now.
agreed.Strangely Esse would probably have a better game in the PL than in a Cup game v a more 'industrial' championship side .
His trouble is he wont be getting the chance until he can do it in these games . He needs putting out on loan in January .
Doesn't fancy the kicking he got in the first half ,there is nothing wrong with his speedAfter starting brightly Pino has really drifted out of this game. Clearly needs time to get up to speed
Pino has been just as bad imo and Kamada also pretty woeful. So many misplaced passes. I've no problem with giving Pino minutes to adapt but feel Esse needs to be given the same opportunity to improve. The kid just is not strong enough yet, he was caught out a lot tonight when on the ball and his defence needs a lot of work.

Lol that's a stretch if ever I've heard one.The kid just is not strong enough yet, he was caught out a lot tonight when on the ball and his defence needs a lot of work.
