Crystal Palace vs. Hoffenheim match thread

Personally I’ve seen enough - pre season performances were poor.

Start of the season there was a bit optimism - we maybe weren’t getting the results our performances deserved.

Since then it’s gone downhill drastically.

Rumours of dressing room unrest, Sage publicly calling out players culminating into tonight where Desasi gets totally bombed from the squad - with Sage saying not prepared to say why.

There’s clearly an issue with Sage and the players that’s translating onto the pitch and into performances.

In short it ain’t working and they ain’t playing for him.

Something’s got to give and change and quickly.

Parish has got to act now - sack Sage and bring in someone that can bring in some harmony and stability.

Parish needs to take some responsibility here - as I’ve said many times the recruitment in central defence is the root of a lot of this and that’s on Parish’s shoulders.

That said Sage has shown enough he is just not up to sorting this out - so must go now.

We were camped in their half for large parts of the game. Pino was destroying them.
They scored a breakaway goal against the run of play. It'll happen from time to time in this system.
If Kamada and Pino had scored their absolute sitters, we could've been 2-1 up.

Other than that one outstanding Henderson save, we didn't concede too many other chances.

You serious? Pino was at least twice as good as him tonight. Absolute menace for the Hoffenheim defence. They ended up just having to hack him every time.

Defensively we were a complete shambles, only pino and kamada can hold their heads up, like the rest of this season. Tbf Timber wasn't bad, especially after just returning from injury.

Tonight's performance completely sums up Sage, the sooner we get rid, the better. Because if we dont, we will 100% be cut adrift in the league fairly soon.
 
Fed up with all the negativity on here we actually played well tonight and but for a mistake by deano and the worst ref ive ever seen we would have won,still some defensive frailties but we will only improve fingers crossed but im always a glass half full kind of guy lol

I think the bewildered look on everyone’s face when yet again we gave yet another goal away inside the 10 mins

Like you’d think A golden rule listen is pinned up in the changing room by now

No fuvking 1 - don’t give away a goal inside 10 Fuvking minutes

No Fuvking 2 - don’t give away a goal inside 20 mins

No Fuvking 3 stop fuvking passing to the opposition, especially Pino & Khalili

And so on

Anyway I’m sure Parish has made his decision to sack the coach not Hobbs & that fuvking another boring s*** coach will be appointed to bore us to death like Roy did

No leader in that team whatsoever
No creative player willing to run at them apart from 5 mins of McNeil

It was boring football

Yet I do want to know who move the goal when JP missed the sitter needs an investigation by S Khan or royal commission please
