Any stats on our shots on target ?
Any stats on misplaced passes ?
Any stats on Pino going to ground or giving the ball away flapping his arms & not chasing back ?

Any stats on static movement from Wharton or overlaps from mids ?

We can blame ref all we want but it does not mask the bleedin obvious

No leader in that team whatsoever
No creative player willing to run at them apart from 5 mins of McNeil

It was boring football

Yet I do want to know who move the goal when JP missed the sitter needs an investigation by S Khan or royal commission please
 
fair play to kamada tonight though. Wish he had finished his first chance as it was a really good one but looked class tonight. This system obviously suits him a bit better going forward than under glasner

Surprised Hoffenheim fans didn't take the piss out of our atmosphere. It was like being at a library. Had to look over at the Holmesdale stand a few times to remind myself there were people actually in it.

It feels like we've been on the Sage farewell tour for a month now.

Another game where the opposition don't really need to do much to take the lead as they know we'll gift them some glorious chances through awful positioning or individual errors... Today we gave them both. Obviously I'm glad we scored but it's once again papering over some serious cracks.

The game was Sage in a nutshell tbh.

Defence so often out of position and gifting huge chances to the opposition through relatively simple approach play.
Caught out by playing out from the back.
Suicidal, blind inside passes from the fullbacks when they're shutdown and no where else to go.
Occasional very nice approach play but fluffing the key pass/shot.
A red card (although that was an awful decision).
Sacrificing any real midfield control by letting the 2 get overrun.

Out of desperation he did change to a back 4, then we had more possession and scored despite having 10 men!

I'm happy he didn't have to face the embarrassment of losing that but I fear unless we part ways before Liverpool, his last game could well be a hammering. I wonder if he'll change formation as one last roll of the dice?

The players are just a shambles of poor decision making, lack on basic knowledge & really suggest could be a struggle to get in a Swindon side at present

Any way I don’t agree but sack the manager & see who Hobbs , Parish & fans want to blame next arhhh we could always blame the ref every single game that’s an idea

I think Sage is mostly the cause of this. It's his job to organise and drill patterns of play into the team. We look like a shambles and passes are misplaced because nobody knows where anyone else will be at any given time. This also leads to slowly recycling at the back via Henderson because there are no options.

At this level organisation is everything. You can assemble a bunch of world beaters but if they have no structure they'll run around looking like headless chickens. If that wasn't the case there would be no need for managers or tactics.

Sage is taking us backwards. The longer he has to impart his ways, the worse we get.

The likes of Henderson, Mitchell, Richards, Kamada, Wharton, Mateta etc didn't just become bad players because a new season started.

I always give my support to every palace manager but he needs to go tomorrow i'm fraid.

give sunday to paddy and then get a new manager in before the two big six pointers!!

and yet many on here were saying at beginning of season that khalili was an upgrade as, and i quote, "munoz can't defend"!!

that's the munoz who kept doku quiet for 100 minutes at wembley and won motm!!
 
On way back - what a load of shite that was. We look awful all over the park. The silence at halftime was everyone in disbelief at what we were watching. Just a shocking match. Liverpool should seal Sage’s fate.
