I guess if canvot is not up to it we move lerma back and kamada back and bring on pino. I guess that's the rationale.

Suddenly feeling a 1-2 loss incoming. Would be happy with a draw today.
 
I expect Canvot will play on the right of the back 3 with Richards on the left.
Richards demonstrated that he can play that role successfully when Guehi was injured at the end of Glasner’s first season.

Lerma has played two successive impressive games and is very useful at set pieces and with his long throws, so his inclusion isn’t a major surprise.
For me Lerma would have been the tried and trusted natural replacement for Guehi, but Glasner must have seen enough to trust Canvot.

To accommodate Lerma and Wharton in midfield it looks as if Kamada has been shunted into a forward position with Pino left out.
I rather suspect that Sarr will play closer to Mateta with two up top on occasions.

I also expect Hughes and Pino to play their part in the game.

The BBC seem to think Lerma is replacing Pino. Had no idea he was so versatile.
 
Got what it’s worth, I’d have the kid on the left of the 3. The reason: keeps the rest of the team as they know plus Mitchell is a better defensive cover than super Dan.

also, this is going to be the open position when Captain Marc Marvel leaves.
