Crystal Palace v Everton (17:30 GMT)

Crystal Palace XI: Henderson, Richards, Lacroix, Guehi, Munoz, Mitchell, Lerma, Hughes, Devenny, Sarr, Mateta.

Substitutes: Turner, Clyne, Kporha, Chilwell, Wharton, Kamada, Eze, Esse, Nketiah.

Everton XI: Pickford, O'Brien, Tarkowski, Branthwaite, Mykolenko, Gana, Garner, Alcaraz, Lindstrøm, Harrison, Beto.

Substitutes: Virginia, Begovic, Keane, Young, Iroegbunam, Sherif, Dixon, Heath, Eber

Good to see Devenny getting a start. We’re certainly bringing him on a treat. Maybe Wharton still needs a bit of game time management after his op. Eze should benefit from a reality check and a kick up the back-side.

More a case of Eze not being fit enough to start rather than being dropped

Here are our relative positions in the first and second half league tables this season:

1st Half Table

9th: Everton - W7 D12 L5
14th: Palace - W4 D13 L7

2nd Half Table

11th: Palace W8 D9 L7
19th: Everton W3 D10 L11

Given that they must be tired from Thursday, they should slow down second half. We should grow stronger when we bring on Eze and Wharton.

Essentially what I'm saying here is I fancy us to be level or even behind at half time and then blitz them second half.

Sky Sports: “We’ve got not just one, but two toffees for you in the studio.”

Not that they’re biased of course.
Sky are a f***ing joke. Our home game and not had a mention in the first segment up to the break. We are above Everton, We are at home.
As a special treat we have jag-hell-ka and the moon faced midget. Bliss. Bet we have Alan Arsenal Smith on comms too.

I’ll be looking for a foreign feed.

They are just catering to the audience. Everton are a bigger club with a bigger fan base and casual audience. Remember first and foremost Sky is a business and a business will try and give their customers what they want. When it comes to football that means the bigger clubs will always get more coverage

Sky news is going under, they say another 2 years tops. Sky sports pre match and post match viewing is dropping off a cliff.

"Let’s have diverse pundits" said or asked nobody. Nobody watches soccer Saturday anymore, same for football “let’s focus on everyone but the real fans” focus.

It is a business but it’s a terrible model. More and more people getting dodgy feeds and watching it that way.

Anyway… COYP.
