Croydon

I never said or implied that just that people are putting fancy brass door knockers and plant holders to upgrade their area.
Yes but whereas people used to use paints on their front doors like Buckingham Green or Pillar Box Red, they now use shades like Elephants Breath or Mouse Droppings.......

All over London "bombed out" areas are becoming gentrified especially those area that have good schools and good transport links.Everyone loves a bargain!
Most of it is either gentrified or a high concentration of office professionals. Quite funny that some of them walk round in rags. Either they have no idea how to dress themselves other than for work or they’re so skint because of property they don’t buy clothes or even go out, therefore what’s the point of living in one of the South London hamlets apart from being able to fit in with conversations about where they live in social circles.

I haven't been to those for years, but I'm somewhat sceptical about them being desirable places to live.
They’re full of office professionals in private housing and the side roads are peaceful. When you get on main roads it’s a bit different.

Boxpark is in East Croydon, not West Croydon.

To say the following about West Croydon is an outright lie…

‘The diversity of the area is reflected in its food, music, and community projects, creating a neighbourhood that is multicultural, creative, and welcoming.

One resident commented that Croydon was an “up-and-coming” borough with plenty of potential.’

I have a property developer friend who is busy buying properties in Croydon, they are telling me the bottom of the market has been reached. It may well be the case, I do not have a clue.
