already being discussed on the El Khannous thread. Plays on the left and cuts in on his right like you know who. From RB Leipzig, Austrian international, has anyone seen him or heard from those who have to say how suitable he might be? And to correct one poster his name is not BumGardner and the fact that his home town is Horn is irrelevant. We don't want Gareth Thomas on our case again.

Well, apparently his last two seasons at Leipzig were not that great and Leipzig need to sell. But he is a reliable utility player. Difficult to assess, if he can adapt to English football and how long it will take. I don’t think, that he is suited to replace Eze but with international experience he could play Conference and cups, also be used as backup for sure. Also probably not that expensive. So a lot of question marks and depending who else comes in. But Ollie and the club should know better about the overall picture regarding incomings and the role he would be supposed to take.

Get him and Nusa from Leipzig and I'd be happy they could fill the creative void left by Eze.

Well, he holds the world record for the fastest goal ever scored in an international match:

As someone who follows matches from both Crystal Palace and the Austrian national team, my take is he'd be a great addition and I'll be excited if it happens. I've alway wondered why Leipzig are too daft to unlock his true potential, but Ollie knows him and if he can do that, you'd have a real gem (and not just a utility player).

Spot on mate would love to get him + pino in the door

I really like the look of this lad. For me he stands out as a Palace and a Glasner type player and I feel sure OG would squeeze every last drop of talent out of him.
Anyone know if there's any real truth in this? How much he would cost us?

Transfer market has him at a value of €12m. But they signed him for €25m a couple of years back so I guess it would be somewhere inbetween.

He doesn't look like quite as exciting as others we've been linked with, but a solid player for sure. Lots of consistant Bundesliga seasons, some European experience. Lots of international caps.

Has been a sub in their first 2 games, so maybe down the pecking order this season?

Feels like he'd be a great squad player, and fees like he'd be a Glasner type player

My gut feeling on any possible transfers this week is:
If it is what Oliver Glasner wants then I am all for it
BUT
if it is someone imposed on him by Steve Parish FORGET IT!
OG will likely be gone long before Parish. If OG has said he'll be going next Summer (or earlier) then Parish would be right to think longer term.

Even if all the players brought in before the window closes are OG choices, that doesn't mean he'll be here next season.

We need bodies in so at that sort of price I'm all for it, especially at a reasonable cost.
Amazing how far we've come that an international with 50+ caps for his country and we are debating whether he's worth it!
