Was it when Parish realised he wasn’t getting £35 million for Guehi or was the original report inaccurate?
I did wonder that. Possibly because of no funds from Guehi departure? It felt all summer like we've got little funds available and whatever funds we actually got up front for Eze sound like some had to be used on payment installments for previous transfers.
But I thought Getafe were also desperate for money, so surprised at the loan unless there's an obligation to buy etc. I guess we'll find out soon.

Apparently this means there is a small loan fee upfront with the full purchase fee paid later at the end of the loan. This spreads costs over time.
