Christantus Uche

Why has deal gone from 17.3m to a loan deal?
I did wonder that. Possibly because of no funds from Guehi departure? It felt all summer like we've got little funds available and whatever funds we actually got up front for Eze sound like some had to be used on payment installments for previous transfers.

But I thought Getafe were also desperate for money, so surprised at the loan unless there's an obligation to buy etc. I guess we'll find out soon.

Anyways glad he's in the building.

If he came with an option to buy I am delighted even if it is a loan. I too have been convinced this change was due to funds

I'm of the view that Pino and Uche are very good deals.

But the pitch will reveal all as there has been a hell of a lot of money spent in the Premiership.....The amounts make your head spin.
an Uche Pino can be rather uncomfortable and should be for opposing defenders, it will give us more thrust both centrally and in wide areas

From his YouTube clips he looks to be a strong and direct runner whose final ball needs a bit of work. He looks powerful anyway.
To me, from the same clips, he looks like Centre Forward in the making, very strong, good in the air, good skills and finishing, could be long term replacement for Mateta.

Haha Google ai says there is no such information, let’s hope Grok is all powerful all knowing.
Chat GPT agrees with Grok , though it might well be that it’s getting its info from grok or vice verse.

Can assume that while Getafe need the money , they don’t need it now . Maybe they just wanted to lock it in or use it as collateral for a loan …
