Craziest game of football I’ve seen. 1 from each side sent off in the first half, Ebsfleet by far the better team should have 2/3 up at half time.
Ebsfleet miss a penalty and lose the second half 6-0.

Not e.g. England U19. He plays within his age range at international level. He is not THAT good.

And if he came and went directly into the 1st team, who would he replace? Wharton? Lerma? Doucoure? Hughes? When match fit (probably the root of our current woes) that's a good top half midfield. We are spoilt.

And would a player getting all that 1st team football in front of his local, adoring Mackem fans at the Stadium of Light readily uproot and trade all that for U21 at the VBS Community Stadium?

Of course not. But we might acquire and lend to Sunderland for a couple of seasons.

He’s a lifelong Newcastle fan so not sure they’re either local or adoring!
