Charlie Cresswell

Glowing reviews of his performances for Rennes this season as he commands the defence from the middle of a back 3 and they sit top of the league. Sounds like exactly what we're lacking. Would have been a modest fee too. But Hobbs got us Disasi on loan, an injury prone free transfer, an 18 year old and a deal wrapped up for player who failed a medical as he'd be injured for the next 6 months.

I think we have a deal in place for the club Bruges defender to join in January, now his foot injury is better.

We could be well adrift of safety by then.
