I bought myself and my son Gold memberships on Monday, £126 including postage. The payment came out of my bank straight away. This morning I had another £126 come out of my bank. I called the membership line this morning and they asked if I bank with Monzo which I do. Apparently there is an issue with Monzo taking the payment twice. Ok I said, when do I get my money back? "Oh just give it a week or so and see what happens, if it doesn't go back in, give us a call" was not the answer I was expecting from a Professional football club.
No apologies, or let me take your details and we can get the money sent back to you ASAP. I am in the fortunate position that I do not need to worry about the money, but I am sure there are many people who will miss this money.
Has anyone else had this issue? If so have you had it rectified or have they given you the same pathetic response?
