Censorship and Social Media

schoolteacher Enoch Burke did a long stretch in jail. Longer than the sentence given to many very violent criminals.
Protestant Enoch was locked up with murderers & rapists for airing his valid Christian opinions. No wonder the Ulster Protestants want nothing to do with the shyte-show that is now the Republic.
You would never see a bloke getting crucified in the UK for his valid scientific beliefs....oh, eh, er, hold on....

You may or may not know my opinion on this case. But I don't think the Enoch burke case is as clear cut as you make it out to be.

I find it quite hard as I just don't like the Burkes at all. However, I believe they should be free to have their opinions.
It was exactly the issue that drove Jordan Peterson into the spot light in Canada. With several similar cases.

Presumably an issue close to Starmer's heart. If we are allowed to wonder.

Starmer lied to Trump about freedom of speech in the UK.

Just like Starmer lies about just about everything.

We brought much of what is thought of freedom of speech to the wider world and now thanks to the Uniparty we are a laughing stock.

What's the issue with Burke? I only know about the objection to trans stuff.

I don't like the burkes at all. And yes we should be free to have their and our own opinions. I do think there is a bit more to this case however centered around calling out the child and headmaster in front of everyone at an assembly. Which is the reason for his suspension in the first place.

Do I think he will get a fair trial? Absolutely not.

Yes, on the face of it, that sounds unprofessional.

But yes, our judiciary has made it quite clear what it is.

Ideological capture.

It's soiled our reputation.

They object to everything frankly. They are very hard to deal with. Always fighting the world. They are more like Presbyterians than Anglicans which I find a bit strange. And, yes, they complain hugely about their own church too. I presume they're highly funded by US Christian groups.
They went to the university I went to and constantly had some protest or walkout. Often during lectures. Disruptive to say the least. I can't remember which ones were actually in my year as they'd all show up regardless.
Kind of a right wing version of left wing activists really. Always some crusade. Which is, of course, their prerogative.

even if i disagreed with Every Word out of Enoch Burke. I would still defend his right to say it.

and yes, Eagle, you are right. Its a complicated legal case. Nevertheless, the general notion that we must all accept "a man in a dress" as some kind of substitute for Scarlett Johansson.....is still ludicrous.

Arrested at Heathrow by armed police over tweets 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thankfully and no doubt only due to the recent protests this has been brought up in parliament and the chief of the met has requested updated guidance, because the cops have zero common sense.

The police is run by university types who have no sense at all and are dictated to by a Marxist authorities government who are trying to turn Britain into North Korea.
The only difference being that North Korea doesn't let millions of immigrants in and claim that women can have penises.

They have plenty, which is why they are requesting a review. They have to though apply the law as directed and any call for violence against a protected group is currently regarded as incitement.

'Protected classes' is an idiotic way to view the law and is such an obvious conflict with free speech that any consternation expressed by politicians over Police enforcement is fake and purely excuses for what they fully support.

They just don't want the bad press...that's the extent of it.

All of these concerns over this were raised at the time these laws were debated.

But the uniparty did what the uniparty do.

And that guidance was that it would require 5 armed policemen to arrest an Irish scriptwriter.

The only real comedy writer to emerge from these isles since Sullivan.

So of course, the left cancelled him......since the progressives emerged comedy has been sh1te.

I fear when I land at gatwick next week for the Sunderland game I may miss it as I will be arrested for liking a scientific post stating the fact that men can't get pregnant.
