My son and I live in the north west ( I moved out of South London in 1973 but have brought my children and grandchildren up to be proper Palace fans too) and are considering driving to Leipzig in his campervan. The plan is to drive down south on Sunday, get an early morning chunnel Monday, stop two thirds of the way to Leipzig and arrive there for Tuesday lunchtime to soak up the atmosphere. Stay in the camper van overnight Tuesday and Wednesday, and do the reverse journey Thursday/Friday.

We are unlikely to have tickets (unless someone can help us out) so would be looking for a Palace fan based venue to watch the match (and hopefully celebrate).

Anyone got any advice or details of where to find it regarding fanzones/ bars to watch the game and campsites suitable for the van overnight? Any recommended websites to find this information?

All advice gratefully received, on here and/or by DM.

I would suspect that once the ticket information has been officially released their will be more information on the CPFC website.

For example, in Krakov there were 2 listed pubs on the Palace website as the 'designated Palace bars' which were next door to each other. This is where the majority headed to. I think it's likely that there will be a fanzone in Leipzig.

Thanks for your help and advice everyone but we have decided to fly to Berlin, have got an Air BnB in Leipzig, and match tickets. Hopefully all the arrangements will work out and we also win.

We are going to campervan it, leaving after the Arse game on the midnight ferry we have a campsite in Leipzig just over £100 for 3 nights, hope the weather is ok
