seems to have that versatility we are looking for in defence - we basically need three 'poor man's Kyle Walkers' and we'll be ready for a competition we might not be playing in.

Shame we didn't go for Walker. Yes I know he doesn't fit with our philosophy of younger players but still would have been a great signing for a year or two. Burnley have go themselves a bargain.

He'd be OK in the back three but I think the old legs have gone a bit to do the wing back role

Went to see AC Milan v Como earlier this year. Game passed Walker by to a great extent.
Also if you remember his performance in the England match v Senegal, it was hardly inspiring. Burnley might just be his level now.
