Burnley Predictions.

I hope the result on Sunday will see a slightly more relaxed and confident performance (hopefully Man U can further enhance by beating WH tonight).
But I just think that until we get to the magic 40 points it’s all about the win - less important how we do it.

2-1 Palace.

It randomly feels like quite a big game, both teams have turned the corner and have found some form.

Great that Spurs, Leeds and Bournemouth are currently losing and with an anticipated win tomorrow night,we could move up the table!!

I feel this season a lot hinges on the first goal in our games. If we get it, and especially if we get it early, we could tear Burnley a new one because we now have players who can come off the bench and keep the pressure on for 90mins.

I think we'll have too much for them and after tonight's results the pressure on the players has eased a little.

3-1 Palace with one or more of the new signings getting off the mark.

This will be a more challenging game than perhaps many envisage.
Realistically, Burnley are not going to survive the dreaded drop, accordingly they will not be playing under pressure.
Perhaps we will attain a draw after falling behind.

i think this is a turning point game, if we win and play well i can see a better run coming, if we don't then i think it will be the end for Glasner, he cannot blame lack of players, we know how poor we are at home against players that defend deep, 2 wins in 12, i hang on to the hope of a change of tactics and not 3 attackers and 8 defensive players, but i think i am whistling in the wind, lets hope we get 3 points and maybe 2/3 goals, COYP

Ignoring the rest of your comment Lanzo, I am very much holding out for this!

COYP!!!!!!!!

Our options in the front 3 have dramatically improved. As Pino has found out, competition for places is fierce.

Lerma in defence has added some stability in the team.

If we attack from the start, get the early goal - then I’m confident we could win and start our end of season heroics.

But wait….this is Palace!

I'm actually looking forward to a Palace game for the first time in about two months, which is dangerous and stupid.

If I'm counting right, they haven't won in 16 league games and haven't scored in their last two. We should have the feel-good factor back to some extent, and anything other than a win is a disappointing result here.

Win, and we're 11 points clear of the bottom three and effectively safe. We could also potentially leapfrog Fulham and Sunderland, who have City and Liverpool. It would put us more in the hunt for European football than a relegation battle.

I'm going to be incredibly naive and predict a 2-0 win with goals from Sarr and Stand-Larsen.

SNAP on everything.
