Burnley Predictions.

1-0 will do nicely. Burnley and Wolves at home should deliver six points, but knowing Palace it won't. Two wins would be a gift in view of the threat of relegation. These two opponents are almost certainly down, but one decent side will go too this season. Spurs? Forest? Leeds? Palace? West Ham? Not inconceivably, Brighton. Forty points might be enough. I don't think thirty eight will be, this season.

If we are back to basics and keep it very tight, limiting chances then we finally have the players to get some goals. I am going for a 1-0 victory and I’d be over the moon with that.
Perhaps some tired legs after Brighton but we now have depth and Daichi can offer something different to the Wharton and Hughes combo.
Finally looking forward to games again

I'm not convinced 40pts will be enough for survival this season. Wasn't it Spammers who went down with 41 or 42 one season.

Looking at those below us in 14th to 18th, West Ham are in form and quite capable of getting at least 18 pts. Out of the remaining 13 games. Forest look to be the most likely to drop if West Ham overtake them. Leeds have become strong at home. Spurs are by no means out of the woods, though and we saw yesterday just how poor the other team has become. BUT all of them apart from West Ham are averaging over a point a game (yes un Forest's case just).

I'll fee better with at least another 10 pts in the board so 6 in our next 2 games would be mistake welcome.

W.Ham were relegated in 2002-03 season having attained 42 pts. Bolton just above them amassed 44 pts and remained in the PL.

However we do it, we just need to win. Keep moving ourselves to safety before Conference League kicks back into full swing!

A couple of bundled in long throws will do nicely.

Burnley desperately need a win - 1 point is not enough to help them from now on.
So, could they come looking for it & be a bit more attacking? If they do, we should be able to pick them apart. We looked comfortable at their place & got a good win. Seriously, nothing's changed, so am going for a 2-0 Palace win. About time we won at home!

ive done 2 bets involing Sarr and Larsen so 2-0 will be very nice indeed with both scoring Larsen booked plus 2+ shots on target and Sarr getting fouled 2+ , it will make my bank manager very happy lol im ok with 4-0 to lol

I was thinking this is the perfect time to play them. We are almost back to full strengh and we have been used to playing twice weekly but have not had to do so since the break in the Europa league. Burnley really needed to beat West Ham to keep any hope of staying up alive so the moral will be low whereas we look to have turned the corner and our confidence will be on the up. We don't score many but this could be a game we do especially if we get one early. Very hard to see Burnley scoring so i think a comfortable to Nil win.

51801 I’m a bit of a pedant about this and was there. My first game 😁
They opened the gates very early because they were worried about the size of the crowd. More people streamed in from outside including friends of mine who climbed onto the roof of the toilets at the Whitehorse Lane end. Count in police, stewards, turnstile operators, catering staff, directors etc so nobody knows how many people were in the ground that night.

I arrived at 4.30 pm and there were already about 20,000 in the ground.

I can only see it being West Ham or Forest. Hopefully it’s the latter. Show them not to bite off more than they can chew 😉

I accept that we are favourites to beat Burnley but to my mind it is not a foregone conclusion.
Our Home record this season at "Hard place to come to" Selhurst Park is far from impressive.
We all remember Larnaca a team we were expected to beat with ease.

Have to say i worry about our abysmal home form.
Surely we can beat Burnley. Another draw is my gut feeling.
