Brighton vs. Crystal Palace match thread

We have now had multiple weeks with only 1 game, we’ve bought in almost £100M of talent, players have returned from injury and suspension.

All the “excuses” rolled out over the past 2-3 months have been addressed.

Brighton have thrown in a nice wrinkle by naming a strange starting XI.

This is definitely our “Waterloo” moment. Time for everyone to step up and put some smiles on faces for Monday morning.

You obviously haven't been to Waterloo recently. There aren't many smiles on offer on a Monday morning.

Good to see Johnson benched. He's been appalling but remained in the starting XI. That can't be good for him, and certainly not for the other players. Perhaps this will help him take a breather, reset, and start from scratch. Maybe he'll come off the bench later, one the game gets a bit stretched out and opens up, gets a chance, and opens his account.

This ref is a busy prat. I remember his face not his name. I’ve seen him a few times and he makes strange decisions if memory serves

It's a bit tippy-tappy at the moment, Hoping Palace get some confidence building
