Brentford Predictions.

That’s a fair point about Brentford, you do wonder how the likes of spurs and Man Utd’s players get away with only playing when they fancy it i.e the big games

That would be an enormous lift for the club when Wharton is back on the bench but I think that is weeks away isn’t he? Happy to see Esse come on for a spell towards the end. I am going for a safe 1-1 as I feel we so often cancel each other out. As others have said they have a good manager.
 
Like him or hate him, Thomas Frank is a fantastic manager and always has them up for whoever they play. With that being said, I think we have some good momentum and I am predicting a tight 1-0 victory.

I will be surprised if there are many Palace fans who hate him. In fact, he's probably my favourite manager who's at another club.

As for a prediction - our home form has been poor this season so I'm hoping that recent away performances will help to turn it round. I'm going for a narrow victory as well (2-1)

Definitely one of the more likeable opposition managers.

More just a figure of speech I sometimes use friend haha.

But agreed: One of the more likeable managers and can't fault his passion.
 
Reckon we could edge this one 2-1, we were hard done by at their place with some diabolical ref decisions and you feel some retribution needs to be dealt out!

Brentford's form is all over the place on their day they can be great. I think I agree with you though

2-1 Palace. Eddie to get his first goal from a Kamada assist.
 
If i was ( well i am ) a betting person then i think both teams to score is pretty much nailed on. They have 3 or 4 really good players in Mbeumo, Wisse, Schade & Norgaard and their league position is fully justified but at the back they are missing a few players. I see a tight game with really both teams in good form. 1-1 or 2-2 for me and move on to an much more winnable game against Man U.

You could be right about Wharton but OG said after the West Ham game he has been steadily building fitness on his own this past few weeks. This week he was deemed ready to join full training with his team mates. Once he has come through full contact training unscathed and his fitness looks good (at 20 his fitness recovery will be swift) it will only be match fitness that can improve sharpness further. I would not be at all surprised to see him name against the subs for Sunday and if so I'd imagine if the game is going according to plan that he'll get at least 10 minutes at the end.
 
Brentford can turn it on when they want ... so it depends what mood they are in. Our mood is joyful and buoyant at the moment but still a hard game to call.
But I will go with a hard fought 1 - 0 win for the eagles.

He's always very complimentary of us
 
we have just beaten two really poor teams this is going to be much harder test ,i hope we have more luck than when we played them at brentford

What sticks in my mind is that at the end of last season's home game, which we won 3-1, Thomas Frank made a point of coming over to congratulate Michael Olise, who scored twice and made all the difference. A class act who has done a cracking job at Brentford, and definitely my favourite opposition manager.
