It seems to have been forgotten that we play Brentford this weekend so i’ll start the ball rolling. Sam Barrott, he of the disallowed goal against Brentford fame, is again on duty. The result will depend on whether he feels guilty enough to give us a dodgy penalty but in keeping with his northern colleagues I don’t expect any help. I’ll take a draw 2-2 to show that we can score goals. Calamity Canvot to give Brentford an own goal when a clearance from a corner hits the back of his head and loops into the net.

Again we should rest and rotate some players. The ones on the pitch could perform for us and dig out a point but our focus has to be on the Conference League Final and so I am not expecting to get anything from a team who are good at home and who are fighting for European qualification.

In the PL they have only been defeated at home 3 times in 18 games.
Their last 2 managerial appointments (Frank & Andrews) have been internal and both managers have been a credit to the club.
I do not envisage us winning the game.

i predict Hughes will get a yellow card.

Also no goals, nor assists, from Brennan, Pino, nor Strand-Larson.

Mitchell will be the best Eagle on the pitch.

I believe OG will play our 1st XI so as to keep them up to speed and to try and get 3 points. I think we'll win 1-2 for our 8th away league win of the season. If only our home form was as good.
Bearing in mind your title your prediction seems very optimistic. Love it to happen but have my doubts!

Very harsh on Canvot. Been outstanding second half of the season especially given his age

Glasner already said will be some rotation but not much. We have a week before the next game and keeping players ticking over is equally important

So ground hog day it is .

I'm going for a low-scoring draw, 1-1. Sarr.
By the way, have you seen how many times we've hit the woodwork, not only in UECL games (massive) but in recent league games too? Unbelievable.
