Bournemouth Predictions

Funny club Bournemouth. Their ground is awful, small fan base ….yet …they seem to have plenty of money to spend on players and have a large squad.

They are one of the in form teams, and their result yesterday only goes to prove how dangerous they are.

I’m going for a very hopeful’ draw…

Bournemouth's net spend in the summer was @ £33 Mill.
They did sell Solanke to Tottenham for £55 Mill rising to £65 Mill.

I have a bad feeling about this.

I maybe wrong but we never seem to have a good Christmas / New Year.

I think this will be a comfortable win for Bournemouth.

Let's hope I am wrong.

Bournemouth's last 4 Home games :

Bournemouth 2 Man C 1
Bournemouth 1 Brighton 2
Bournemouth 1 Tottenham 0
Bournemouth 1 W.Ham 1

They have not comprehensively defeated teams at the 'Goldsands' and I would not be surprised if we increased our points tally.

You’re right and I’m expecting defeat, but a repeat of when we went down there on New Year’s Eve a couple of years ago would be handy 😎

Glasner has confirmed that Eze, Munoz and Chaloboah are all back for the game.
We should be able to field a better side and a stronger overall bench.

Glasner mentioned the pace that Bournemouth have in attacking areas and the threat this enables them to carry.
We have shown we are vulnerable to pace this season, in particular on counter attacks where we have left large gaps for the opposition to exploit.

I hope we’re a bit more compact for this game and that Lerma and Hughes sit a bit deeper so there’s less space for them to exploit.
I’m hoping for a draw, but forecast a narrow defeat.

Even Southampton got an away draw today. Plus Wolves won :-( Lose to Bournemouth and not beat Southampton will put us back into the mire again - worrying times may be around the corner again. 2 or 3 nil to Bournemouth is my present thoughts sadly
Wolves winning was probably good for us. They have some excellent attacking players and got shot of Gary O'Neil as manager. Leicester are back to using Ward in goal, which relegated them last time. I fancy the promoted teams to all go down
Having said that, Wharton is now out for weeks and there will be more clubs in the market for players than last year in the transfer window

Blimey Willo, that's uncharacteristically optimistic for you. Are you full of the Christmas spirit?

A result here would be massive for us. Bournemouth are good at home and flying.

Traditionally smaller clubs have moved up while we have been standing still. It's getting harder to win games and compete.

I was there 2 years ago, when we won. It’s a small ground where you feel close to the action.

Their supporters are seriously delusional and fickle. Our away support made a big contribution 2 years ago and could and should do again. If we turned Brighton over there’s no reason at all why we cannot do it to Bournemouth.
