Had a horrendous journey after my wife had the audacity to take our infant child out today in the car.

On the train and on course for KO however.

Head immediately wants to jump to: ‘It’s all gone wrong, another loss incoming, Glasner has lost it, everybody is scared of getting injured for Wembley, Eze has been found out, we’re sh!te etc etc.

Something’s changed though. Whilst fully braced for whatever happens I’m feeling confident. Come on you Palace!!!

Don’t concede from their early onslaught, take control, grab a couple goals and see out a deserved 2-0. Blip over.

Trying to feel slightly optimistic, after going to Newcastle and witnessing such an awful performance against what is a very good team in the Toon. I fear Kluivert especially but he is not their only good player. Big deep breath and everything cross we get some kind of result - otherwise confidence will be going down the pan! A Hopeful 1-0 to us ?
