Sadly died aged 75 in Portugal.

A voice from the 80's, surprisingly versatile and enduring.

Oh, that's sad news. She's been poorly for a while, but woke from a coma recently and seemed to be making progress. Shocking for those close to her.

Had vocal chord problems around the time she had her first hit, hence the gravelly voice.

And in 2026 it has had over a billion hits on Spotify.

It has really become part of the musical furniture.
