Hmm, he moved to Chelsea, the home of bling / cash.
That said, has his isolation taught him stuff?
And do we take his comment that moving to Palace was a "no brainer" as agent / PR fed lip-service, or a statement of his genuine belief - perhaps even a message to the club that he is open to make this move permanent if they are?
I am still skeptical about whether his time with us will extend beyond this season. However, I always pathetically cling on to the possibility that he wants it, the club wants it, and we are playing him sparsely to encourage Chelsea to sell at a sensible price as a mere squad player.
Sadly, I don't suspect even Chelsea are so dumb as to fall for that one.
