I recall an episode when Robin Day was inviting an audience member to partake - "The gentleman at the back with the splendid moustache". The chap looked pleased and replied words to the effect "Thank you for the compliment". Robin Day replied "Identification not flattery".

That may be a good idea Eagle. There was a bad pattern of bullying guests on the TV show below. Luckily its only fiction. I never saw Question Time bullying anybody - certainly not in the last twenty or thirty years.
