The only answer to this problem is to deport large numbers of people. Politicians won't do that.

The question is, how many need to die before politicians take drastic action? Is there any point at which they would cast off their veneer of liberal idealism and recognize the mess they have created?
When will the hollow words of solidarity and condolence stop and action start?

They are either too busy indulging in political expediency or are genuinely deluded.
