Given that contract extensions haven’t been discussed (possibly) I think this will be Glasner’s last season with us.

He probably has accepted that we don’t have the financial resources available for him to strengthen the squad let alone the rebuilding of the Old Stand..

If we don’t progress in the European Conference League Mr Parish and Co will have other problems not just holding on to our current players but finding a new manager that can continue and surpass Ollie’s achievements..
 
Perhaps Steve Parish is too busy looking for a new manager and has forgotten the need to field a team every game. 😆

There would only be one thread if all the pessimistic woeful threads were merged. Why is everyone so miserable?

Glasner hasn’t left or made any comments indicating he will. He has said nothing even halfway as bad as Nuno has said at Forest.
Geuhi hasn’t left either.
Nor has Eze gone offficially (ok it’s probably imminent but it hasn’t happened yet!)
Last Sunday we almost beat the team at the top of the table that won 5-1 this evening

Nuños pissed that Marinakis snitched on us.
 
Wouldn't suprise me one bit to see a bid for Glasner from Marynickers to Manage Forest for 10 million. Steve accept in a heart beat.

It’s the same every summer, you’d think people would lighten up a bit after winning two cups and having a bit of European football. I just think some people don’t appreciate the good times. The good players and managers all leave in the end, you just have to enjoy them while they’re here, I’ve waited a long time for what we’ve achieved the last few months.
Even Sky and talksport get on my tits with their constant ‘palace have a horrible summer’ with the Europe thing and lack of signings!! Have we?? I should imagine any half decent palace fans are still buzzing.
Our best players leaving and no signings yet and playing in a European tournament with a different name is not going to dampen my spirits, even Edouard back in the team can’t do that🤣🤣
Basically who gives a fcuk, we won the fa cup
 
Not really surprising there are threads like this. Glasner doesn't exude happiness when talking about transfers.
Steve Parish is ultimately guardian of the purse strings, and though we seem financially sound, we always seem to endure a last-minute scramble at the end of the transfer window to get bodies in.
I like the humour of seeing Glasner being pinched by Forest, but Ollie has seen how managers are treated in Nottingham, and he probably won't want any of that. I think , however, he might be a target for clubs with money.

I also think we have in mind the dismantling of the team of 1990, once it was seen that investment wasn't going to happen.

Yes it’s not like we haven’t been there before, and the early 80’s, some a little bit older than me will say the early 70’s as well
At least if it does all go tits up this time we’ve got something to show for it I suppose 😎

Honestly I had to even turn that off yesterday, listening to Troy deeney and matterface banging on about Eze and Europe, talk about trying to suck the life out us, I only have that on normally because of Simon Jordan, even he with his history with parish is always complimentary of the job SP has done for us and puts the palace know it alls right when they phone in with their ramblings

Ollie's just collected his suitcases from the bag drop. He was heard to say "f***ing 18 quid. Use it towards transfers Steve". The Uber is at Sainsburys. Ollie has the last laugh. He's got Dougie's Uber account.
