49 lead for England and one wicket remaining for the Aussies. Australia will have to go last, hopefully looking good for England we will need a contribution from mssrs. Root and Stokes with the bat. Oddschecker have England at 8/15 on. Nothing to be gloomy about but Willo does a wonderful eeyore impersonation .......gloom is me.....

It was nice to see our bowlers making them hop about but 19 wickets in a day? Maybe their batsmen are in T20 mode too.
I think nineteen players got overwrought by the hype. More tough cricket to come, Brydon Carse who normally is a bit "under the radar" is doing well ,a decent mini all-rounder.

Poor pitch? I've been working the whole time and I'm not getting up in the middle of the night. Aussie pitches usually hard - a bit of bounce.

Not sure if it's a poor pitch but it's not as quick and bouncy as the WACA has been. Just as well looking at what happened on it.
No one on the radio blamed the pitch.

Your thoughts on the England tail were put to shame the tail wagged. This is a very big ground with a very slow outfield on a much smaller english ground the score would be double!

Perfection is not in the human gift, however my fears apropos England batting collapses and Zak Crawley have come to pass.
After a 1st innings lead, it was an opportunity to build on that advantage sensibly but alas we played T-20 cricket. Ridiculous.😡😡
